Slim Rice 270g
Where can I purchase this range from?
You can purchase the CARB X range from Holland and Barrett and Amazon
How long will it last once opened?
2 days once opened.
What is konjac?
Konjac is a root vegetable that grows in Asia. It looks like a yam.
How will it help me with my fitness goals?
By substituting regular pasta, noodles and rice with CARB X, you are removing up to 60g of carbohydrates from your meal. Each pack contains six 100g sachets of pre-cooked food, so there's less for you to do.
Can anyone eat Konjac?
Yes, unless you have an allergy to any of the ingredients. This range is suitable for keto, gluten-free, low sugar, fodmap and paleo diets. However, if you have any doubts or if you have any medical concerns, please consult your GP.
What is the difference between No Drain and CARB X?
They are both very similar recipes. Both do not require draining, does not have an odour and rinsing is optional. A pack of CARB X contains six 100g sachets and a pack of No Drain contains one 200g sachet.
When can I expect delivery of my order?
Please allow up to 5 working days for UK Mainland delivery, 14 days for outside of UK Mainland delivery. (Please note you may be required to sign for your order).
What’s the difference between these products and the conventional?
The CARB X range is made mostly from water, tapioca and fibre, whereas regular pasta and noodles are usually made from wheat or egg and rice is made from rice. Per 100g, regular pasta, noodles and rice contains up to 70g of carbohydrates and 350 calories whereas the no drain range contains 9g of carbohydrates and 35 calories.
How is it so low in carbohydrates?
CABR X is mostly made from Water, Tapioca and Konjac flour. Konjac flour is made from a root vegetable called Konjac, which looks like yam. Konjac flour is rich in water soluble glucomannan fibre. When mixed with water, it absorbs many times its own weight. Since water contains no carbohydrates and Glucomannan fibre does not get absorbed by the body, the main source of nutrition is from tapioca.
Can I freeze an opened pack?
No, our konjac should not be frozen as this would affect the quality of the food.
Is Konjac a 'fad' food?
Konjac has been consumed in Asia for many centuries as a staple food. If it was a fad food, would it be a staple food?
Is Konjac suitable for children?
If a child is not following a weight loss diet, then yes. The range is suitable for gluten-free, low sugar, fodmap and paleo diets too.
