On Celery and Cupcakes!
I’ve seen these a lot on other blogs, and have always been tempted to pick up a pack when I’ve shopped in Holland and Barrett, but never did. When contacted with the opportunity to try them out I thought “why not?” and thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt.
As far as convenience food goes, these Eat Water products are pretty healthy with only 9 calories per 100g, and since they are vegan, gluten, sugar and wheat free they are suitable for most diets. I wasn’t sure what to expect from them and to be honest they do taste pretty bland on their own, but when served with a curry or used in a stir-fry they taste a lot better because they soak up the flavours from the sauce. For a speedy meal idea they are great, but I would rather just buy and eat the real thing, but I can see how helpful they can be for someone who is on a low-carb diet and looking to lose weight or for those searching for a gluten-free option to traditional rice and noodles.
