Simple foods for your next party

Simple foods for your next party

Organising a party shouldn’t be stressful, it should be part of the fun. That’s why we’ve created a list of quick, simple, and delicious foods that fit perfectly on any party menu. Whether you want to serve dishes to share or simple canapés, we’ve got you covered. Take a look at our sweet and savoury recipes below and let us know on Twitter how much your guests loved your treats!

Warm Greek Rice Salad

Drain and rinse your Slim Rice, cook and serve with a hearty salad with your fav veggies. Make sure to add a good handful of chopped black olives and feta cheese to add the Greek element to the salad. This is a great sharing dish for groups or can be used as an accompaniment to other dishes.

Skewers

Skewers can be great for two reasons: because they can be tailored to your guests’ individual tastes with little effort and also they are the perfect finger food. Just marinate your meat or veggie and slide it onto your skewer. Grill them while constantly rotating until done. Serve on their own or on top of a bowl of Slim Rice. dinner party food

Broccolini Pasta

Serve hot or cold depending on the type of party your hosting. Cold can be easier for casual lunches while the hot dish can compliment a larger centrepiece. To start, toast a large handful of chopped almonds. While they are roasting boil broccolini for a minute, then stir-fry your No Drain Penne along with the broccolini for 2 minutes. Then, mix vinegar, shallot, garlic, and Dijon into a bowl for a fresh dressing. Serve with tomatoes and basil.

Mac & Cheese

A total crowd pleasure that will always leave guests with a full belly and a big smile. Mac & cheese might take a bit longer to create than the other dishes featured on our list but its well worth it. The best recipe we’ve used is BBC’s Good Food so we recommend taking a look at that and making the creamiest mac & cheese ever!
